Dennis Begley, Chief Executive Officer
Co-founder Dennis Begley is responsible for the overall strategic direction and mission of HIPAAps.com.
With over 30 years in the insurance industry, Begley is President of his own employee benefits consulting business. Half of those years he worked for two major insurance companies as a home office consultant to insurance agents. During the course of business as a benefits consultant, Begley discovered that many of his clients were facing the task of achieving HIPAA privacy and security compliance. Recognizing the difficulty they were facing was instrumental in creating HIPAAps.com to make that task easier. Begley holds his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) from the American College.
Brian Woodruff, Chief Technology Officer
Co-founder Brian Woodruff is responsible for Web site architectural design and configuration, programming development, networking and software engineering.
In addition to his duties with HIPAAps.com, Woodruff serves as President of soundconcept.net, Inc., a firm specializing in high functionality web site development. Beginning his career in electronic communications as a hobby, Woodruff launched his first commercial web site in 1994. Web development has been his primary focus since 2000. Prior to this, Woodruff served as an engineer in the medical electronics field. Woodruff is fluent in a multitude of computer programming languages, in addition to having expertise in the areas of database architecture and development, and of course web site development and hosting. Woodruff holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Christine Tlougan, Chief Information Officer
Christine Tlougan is responsible for research and development of content creation and management for HIPAAps.com.
Tlougan has experience in a broad scope of contexts which makes her unique background perfect for content development with HIPAAps.com. In addition to an educational background in English, she has a great deal of experience in the research area, including work done toward a masters degree in library science. She also has performed research for corporate clients, spent time working in the law library of a substantial Minneapolis law firm and spent several years in web site development performing work for several Fortune 100 companies. Tlougan holds Bachelors Degrees in English and History from the University of St Thomas.
James Rolshouse, Corporate Counsel
James Rolshouse is responsible for content review and compliance.
Trained as a U.S. Army Medic and later as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, Rolshouse spent 12 years in the field helping the sick and injured. Rolshouse remains active with the U.S. Army National Guard in the Division Medical Support Command. Since 1983, Rolshouse has been in private legal practice, helping clients and victims with their claims and issues. Rolshouse holds a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.
